Re: Nemakill
Thanks for the response Bill. I was mostly curious about the mustard plant. The gardener on the show said the fumes put off by the mustard plant material decaying in the soil (after the plants were tilled in) along with the heat would kill them. So I guess my question was more about the mustard plan...

It has been interesting reading this thread. Congratulations! It is a beautiful house, and I love the southwest style. You mentioned you only had 4 days in it before you went traveling again, so did you buy the house furnished? I cannot imagine getting all that done in 4 days.

Just seeing this. I am in shock, I just knew she would kick it again. May she rest in peace, such a wonderful lady. I remember her pictures of the new house they built and how happy she was. So darn sad.

Re: Miracle Grow Moisture Control potting soil
I have all my Hosta in pots and have used Miracle Grow Moisture control for years. Never had any problems. I overwinter them standing upright all bunched up which has worked great for me, however I am in OK so winters usually are not severe.

My favorite tool is my hands
No matter if I use tools, eventually they are thrown to the side and I am on the ground with my hands buried in the dirt. I love to feel the dirt in my hands..

Re: Dog Decoys for deer control
Our drought was so bad this year the deer came up and ate my host a for the first time in 10years  the best deterrent I have found is DH! Or I should say his urine. He is one of those guys who has to pee on every tree like a dog, so I get him to sprinkle around the property lines LOL. It does h...
