Thanks again, appreciate it. Couldn't find them in any of my books, now I can & it is narrowed down to 2 plants. Clammy Ground Cherry which I know I have, but not in this spot. or Horse Nettle - these are the only 2 that have yellow tomato like berries. Guess I'll be watching it for the flowers.

Thank You...I always thought they were a type of Sumac.

They are in my woods, a long way from the house, so I don't have to dig any up.

And a couple more questions.....

Aren't these poionous?

Do they attract any kinds of birds?

If so which ones?

LOL...to me the eye is just blurry, can't say it is any particular color.

I think the Cardinal is an adult, looks to big to be a baby.
