Re: Sleepy kitty
Yeah....think about it. We need a good mattress, perfect pillow, just the right temperature in the room, shades down, a few minutes of reading to get sleepy....and we still toss and turn, worry and fret! Cats? Where won't they sleep? When won't they sleep? You cats are sleeping.... again? Or are you...

Follow up to the last one. Obviously, he's not sleeping, but it's too cute not to share:

Re: look what the son drug home.......
We have a male cat and we got wilbur fixed at six months
Jeez, aren't I the gabby one today.
If he is in fact a bengal, six months would be considered late. I'd have to dig up the vet records, but I think my guys were fixed at four months.

Re: look what the son drug home.......
And one more thought.... :D I took another look at your kit's pic. The bengal coat and pattern become clear as they lose their kitten fur (the grey fuzzies  ). So, unless you're an expert, a judge or breeder or whatever (and those things I definitely ain't :D ), it can be very hard to tell what...

Re: look what the son drug home.......
More....as he loses his kitten fur, he should (if he's a bengal) get a very soft coat, called a "pelt." And his spots should become clearer. Also, note the sheen to Minu's fur in the last pic I posted. Here are a few more pics to show you what I mean:

Re: look what the son drug home.......
Light spotted belly.....black paw pads....short, short fur....craving attention and under foot all the time....the talking, the constant, constant talking  ....runs to the door (ie, curious).... He sounds like a bengal to me. And if I'm right, that means that you're really in for it now ....

What a beauty!
Describe his belly for me, will you? And his paw pads -- what color are they?

We use to go to Florida every year. One year we were on a boat and a big one was following us I'm like..."Um can't we go a bit faster?" LOL ! We were canoeing on Nine Mile Pond in the everglades. I was in front, with the camera. We heard a jet roaring overhead and looked up, then realized the roari...

Garden to visit - Chanticleer, in Wayne, PA. One of my very favorite gardens to visit. But it's quite expensive to get in....$5.00 per person. :D  I second Alexa on Teich and McColgan. For one thing, you can go home with large field-grown hostas and daylilies. They are outside of Perkasie, PA. ...

Yes, indeed, I was there....and a great time was had by all. I missed the Russell's thing cause I got lost. Which is pretty sad, seeing as how I've lived in this county since the late '80s.  The rest of the day was fabulous. I saw only a fraction of the Cullerton's garden. First...

I used to walk my guys....the recommendation I received on a few cat forums was the broad type of harness that wraps 'round the torso and chest. The thinking is that, if the cat's ever truly scared, it's possible it can get out of both a regular collar/leash and the slender type of harness you curre...

Why why why do these things always happen? Someone gave me the heads up about the Russell Gardens/Cullerton thing weeks ago, and you can bet I was all set to go. Really looking forward to it. I'd planned to join the local group, meet people, go hosta crazy.... Then I got my DVDS newsletter (Delaware...
