Jane, yep I did add aluminum sulfate to the soil for Nachtigall and Matilda Gutges. I also put grass clippings and coffee grounds around them to try to lower the pH. Monarda Jacob Cline
I got Monarda Jacob Cline to attract hummingbirds to my yard, and I just love it. Here's a close up of a bloom. Hopefully it will be mildew resistant.
