I trim mine all the time. I think they will grow to about 8 feet. I keep mine at under 3 feet. When pruned well the trunk has a kinda oriental look to it with nice curves. The new grown is bright red and looks like flowers. Great plant!! Good Luck

I'm getting the second round of blooms out of my Brugs. They usually only bloom in early July and that's it. I think it was the fertilizing that did it. Lots and lots of fertilizer.

These flowers have the most intoxicating smell!!!!

Any advice or suggestions. I'm aware that when I prune these little trees they have a milky sap. How much should I prune at one time?

I want to divide my lillies, crocosmia, shasta daisies, and blackeyed susans. Is this a good time to do so? Should I cut them down to about 10" or less? Is this the best time to amend the soil from which I'm taking them and to which they are going? Phew-------------those sure are a lot of questions....

What a wonderful, relaxing spot. I think big, beautiful containers filled with begonias, impatients and caladiums would look pretty. How about ferns??

Well, I did get a few sprinkles!!! It cooled down 12° when the "sprinkles" started. That was a relief. It's only about 85° today so that feels wonderful. The people here seem very friendly and I think I can learn a lot!! Thanks for the welcome.
