Re: The Lone Ranger
Hi George and Happy New Year to you.
I check in from time to time but the place is usually quiet. I miss you and Sam. Hope you are well.
My Garden needs some attention and tweaking !
All the best,
Mike

Yep, it's the staghorn sumac. Beautiful red in Autumn. Drops smaller branches as well as the leaves.

Thanks Brian.
I do enjoy my garden in the fall.
Enjoy the structure. Work in peace and comfortable temperatures and plan for the next Spring.

George, I cannot even imagine what you are feeling. But what you've built will live on in our memories of such a fantastic garden. Thanks for all you have given to the hobby. I wish you only peace, contentment and happiness in the future. I'm sure we all look forward to seeing what you put together ...

Re: surprise garden invite
Nice of you to remember. Actually, when the plans are completed and the last of the large damaged trees are removed, i'll probably like the result better than the original. I'm still at least a year away from getting it all done. But it keeps one occupied.

Glad to hear from everyone.
Update, the freeze never happened. 36-39 was the lowest readings. No frost.
The maples should be fine. Now for the rest of my garden !
Enjoy your Spring fellas !
