Re: HVX questions/ ID
Purchased from a garden center that has been in business for "over 80 years" according to their website. They are the largest here in town, and what I thought was the safest place to shop. I have the tags, I'll check them out tomorrow and post. I'm not sure if I should try to take everything back or...

HVX questions/ ID
So, I'm second guessing everything now. :( I bought 8 hostas today, but as I look closer at a few of them and comparing to what I'm learning about HVX, I'm starting to wonder if I should have left them behind. Bear with me folks, I promise I won't do this very often! This is "Revolution" and I thoug...

Crap. I knew it didn't quite look right this year
It's dimpled on the small, new leaves as well.

Re: Hi from Atlantic Canada :)
Thanks Owen
Honestly, the space is a bit intimidating right now! I have a lot of small things that will be future giants that I'm trying to leave room around, and have to keep reminding myself that it's only going to look bare for the first few years!

Re: Planting hosta
Jan, your yard is beautiful! I love the chartreuse colours in the new hostas you have chosen as well! I'm far from an expert, but I always put a bit of "moo poo" from the family farm down under my hostas as well. On a off topic note, do you do much quilting? I've been quilting off and on for about 2...

Leola Fraim - Should I be worried?
I noticed her looking terrible this morning. Any chance this is just from her being moved / overwintering in a pot / spending spring in a greenhouse / occasionally used in place of a hydrant by my Lab? Or could it be something more serious? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5616294/Hostas/IMAG2281...

Hi from Atlantic Canada :)
Hi Everyone! I'm fairly new to hostas, been "collecting" for a couple of years now. We recently moved and I only brought a small piece of each with me, so it will be a few years before things around here amount to much. Our new home sits on 3 acres of property with lots of shady spots and woods, and...
