Wowzers! You guys are GREAT, thanks!
Chris, your pics are super!
I'm thinking since this guy was feeding on a Nicotiana Sylvestris he is probably a Tobacco Horn Worm.
The link Paul provided said "they are a related species which devour tobacco plants."
Your pic shows the nest even better than seeing it in person Chris. Nice job! The first thing that came to mind was what OED said about the size comparison between the nut and the nest.
I was stunned last week to see this Hibiscus growing in the very rear of a hosta bed. This is located on the north side of our garage in totally dry shade! Now the question is, do I leave it where it is or move it to a sunnier location?
What a fun day you planned Pat! Great pic, I can hardly believe how much your son has grown since I last saw him! That was probably a year ago at Jimmy Macs? I agree with the other's, very handsome, as is Hugo!
I'll add an angelic pic of a few of Gracie's littermates. And another 'not' so angelic pic taken of the pups with our son Kyle. The pics were taken a week before we brought our pups home a year ago June. I love looking through those puppy pics!
Oh John I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I'm in tears with and for you and Joy. Even though we should find comfort in knowing our pets have gone on to a better place the ache in our hearts is a long time healing. I'll keep you and Joy in my heart and prayers. ((((((((((((John and Joy)))))))))...
Cool pics Lisa.....however I have to admit, I'm one who doesn't enjoy the Zoo. It just breaks my heart to see wild animals caged/enclosed. And yes I know, some of them would certainly not be alive w/o a Zoo to house them.
Hi Ron, we hunt all three dogs, predominantly on Pheasant and more occassionally, Quail. Our eldest son has a littermate to our pup, Grace. So you'll see 3 V's in this pic that RocknC Peg, so graciously and PATIENTLY, took last Christmas. The pups were 7 months old then. Chloe our Pointer was a resc...
Peg, we had our first conformation class tonight. Grace had the entire class in stitches with her 'talking out of turn'!
Actually she did amazingly well, really loves to strut her stuff!
