Jamie,

What a fun looking baby! It has a nice gold edge. I like it!

(Everybody, sorry I haven't been around much lately, I've started a new job and my husband broke his leg this summer. So, I haven't had much time to play on the computer.)

I have to say my "good luck!" too. I have a friend who goes to a farmers market all summer long and sells daylilies among other things. She doesn't make tons of money doing it, but she has fun. You could also try the lily auction. Good luck again!

TMA,

I'm so sorry you lost your babies. However, take heart, they might just be getting a late start. Last year, I thought I'd lost Orchid Blush, but it did evenyually come up.
So, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

OC,
Nice picture from memory lane. I was just reading someplace (I think it was the daylily robin.) about ground coffee for slug control.

TMA,

I've heard a lot more positive comments about Sherry Lane Carr than Bill Norris.

Wonderful info Jay Dee. I might have to add some things to my list. I'm trying to be very good this year. I didn't get Toas and America's most wanted. When I sent in the order I got: New Directions Amadas Lime Frost Lemonade Flurry Devonshire Dutchess (my mom was from Devon, so I had to have it.) I ...

Annika, Sorry, I must have glanced over the catalog too fast. I took a second look and there they are. They are both nice, but I like Cup of Blessings better. Jay Dee, What a great list! I looked and looked at Spacecoast Sea Shells and many of the other ones you have ordered. (Stamile is my favorite...

Oh, nice choices Annika! I looked at both of them and drooled. I thought long and hard about Wren's Song. I didn't see your other two in the shooter's (Marietta) catalog. But, I bet they are lovely!

Wow! Those are all nice! However, I think I like Dragon Heart best. I'm a sucker for pink. I'm getting Tholian Web and Fractal from Floyd Cove. I'm also getting Lavender Heartthrob, America's Most Wanted, and Toas. I'm going to try and leave it at that for this year. Have a wonderful day and a Happy...

It sounds like it should be OK. The other folks pretty well covered the basics. The only things I would add to someone just starting out is be careful about moisture. Keep your seeds(seed starting mix) moist but not wet. Mold, bugs, sickness can all happen when things are too soggy. Good Luck, :D Ke...
