Hi all,
I've a garden area that had hostas in it before the voles devoured them. Would it be safe to put Heuchera there, or do the voles eat them too? Figured I'd get the advice of the experts here before investing in several plants. Thanks for your help.

I know I'm late getting around to this, but thought you might like to see a couple of seedlings from this year's crop.

Hi TMA - why not try a sib cross? Cross the 2 seedlings you show pictures of, and maybe you can end up with the good characteristics in the same plant. Worth a try.

I've had a small plant of this for about 8 years here in my zone 4 garden (with reliable snow cover), and it survives but hardly increases at all. Love it anyway for its wonderful scent and good manners.

Oh Janey - life doesn't seem fair sometimes. I hope Banks slipped peacefully away, and isn't that the best way to go? My heart goes out to you and your family. How wonderful to find some solace in Gracie's return.
