Yippee...the shirt is done! I think you all will be pleasantly surprised - it turned out even better than I had hoped! It took about 40 hours to paint it with a 000 brush (maybe 10 fine small hairs).

Hey, those of you going on Fri. night...save some hosta for the rest of us to buy on Sat., okay? I haven’t bought a hosta yet this year and I AM READY!

I've been picking out plants to bring for the trade and the auction...
For trade I have some named plants that are not real common...
For auction I have some seedlings I don't want that are decent plants, a couple big seedlings that I lost the labels to (I don't want to hybridize with it if it is unknown parentage)... I don't know how much pottery to bring. I'm planning on donating something ceramic to the auction, but I'm not sure if it is right to sell any of the other pottery at this type of event.
I'm looking forward to meeting those of you who I have not yet met!
Trying not to pick favorites, Lucygoose 8-)

Oh, gosh, Lucygoose...don’t get in a tizzy about the hosta for me! Just dig them next spring, put them in a pot and bring them to Chris & Brian’s next year - save yourself the postage. There is no rush at all...I am pretty laid-back (except when I am dealing with my MIL)!

ONE DAY! In 24 hours I will be pulling into the nursery and I will be FREE for a WHOLE day! I can hardly wait! If I seem sort of giddy, don’t mind me...I just haven’t had a whole day away since last Dec. 7 when we moved my MIL in with us.

Looking forward to meeting you, Dave, and seeing your pots! I likely can’t afford one, but love to see other artist’s work.

Everyone...drive carefully! See you all in the morning!

Ummmm....It appears I'm not going to make it this year...again.
The financial ducks are not in a row especially after the most recent vet bill as well as some up coming expenses with the boys.
I am so bummed guys. I wanted to see everyone again and hang out, drool over the potted goodies, sip my Morgan and Coke and crash in my tent.
If I had happened to see Brian roll down the hill in his chair, or dive into the bushes when the fireworks went awall..that would've been a bonus, too.
Brandon has semi's for baseball tomorrow morning.
He really wants me there to watch as always, It's hard to
miss his stuff.
I expect to hear lots of stories and see lots of pictures.
Raise a glass for me to Brenda.
Hugs and smooches to you all.

Helen, I'm glad you and Gary will be here this year. :D I didn't bring your daylily. I'll have to get your address so I can mail it.

 Barbara, I wish you were coming. I'd love to meet you.

:( Jen, I'm so sorry that you won't be able to make it...again. You left out Brian playing with someone's blonde, curly hair. Have fun watching Brandon play baseball. You'll be missed.

We arrived in Jackson at about 4 p.m. Michigan time. After checking in, we went out to the nursery and saw Chris, Brian, Lynn and Art. We went out for dinner and are now ready to crash. I'm pooped! I only got about 5 hours of sleep last night. See everyone tomorrow for a day of fun with old friends and new.
