Hosta baby?

Post by Muddy fingernails »

Hello,
What would this little rosette in the middle of this very big hosta be? An offspring? What should I do with it ( except stare at it in amazement?)
Sorry, no pix. Cannot make it small enough.

Regards,

No clue what it could be without a photo ... maybe an emerging flower?

Yup, it is an emerging flower - perhaps bigger than normal, but nothing you can do with it but stare at it in amazement ;)

That is a flower scape that was trying to emerge last fall when it had to go dormant.
