It always makes me happy to see this each spring.
You all are invited to the 2018 AHS convention, to see this and the rest of our gardens. Or just stop by any time.
[Edit: flipped it]

Just beyond the brown ball in the pic above is this freak of the hosta world, Wheee!

Tigger, most of us looking at these posts are in the northern hemisphere, we're not down under, so there's no need for upsidedown pictures....

Grrr... These show the right way on my iPad, but upside down on desktop... I guess I have to learn to hold the iPad the wromg way for taking pics.

Hi Tigger, I flipped them for you. I get dizzy easily. I'll let you edit what you want - I don't like editing other peoples stuff without asking.

You won't know how to grow a plant successfully until you've killed it a few times.

I re-uploaded the pictures. Sigh.
Ludi, we have no Jade Cascade. I imagine you're seeing H. kikutii in front of Sagae. We've had it quite a few years (at least 10 and maybe 20).
Sagae is showing some odd behavior this year, which you can kind of see in this picture: most of the plant came up normally, but the left 1/3 of it started out looking stunted (but is now correcting itself). I'm not sure why. There was (for the first time) some vole damage in this bed last fall, so maybe it had some root pruning. One plant was nearly destroyed but it seemed nothing else was touched; I put out poison bait as soon as I could.

That is a stunning bed, now that I can stand on solid ground and see it!

Thanks David !
It resembles Jade Cascade in all other features except height ... which is what prompted me to ask the age since the width is sure there for an older specimen.
Looks like
kikutii just landed on my 'Wishlist'.
Best,
Ludi

Beautiful bed, Tigger!
I agree about Wheee! What a flamboyant little baby, shown here with a studly Clear Fork River Valley nearby.
