I have a seedling that is in the same place it has been for two years. Came up beautiful, growing well, it even flowered. Then just today, I noticed several full leaves were wilted and "wet" looking. It's not between the veins like nematodes, but a similar wet look. It's the entire leaf. I thought it was crown rotting, so I dug it up. The roots were completely solid with white new-growth tips everywhere. No signs of rot. The only other thing is, I applied slug bait (Sluggo) a couple weeks ago. Apparently a few of the pellets got caught at the base of the petioles and started molding. Could that have caused this? NO IDEA what happened here.
No pics yet, I don't have my camera here.
New one to me! Rotting? No! Sluggo effect??

Finally some pictures. The plant has been is a bucket of water for a couple days. I pulled it out to take some pics.
No unusual weather. No fertilizer. No excessive heat ( a couple 90º days, but watered well and it's in the shade). No excessive water (25min every other day), no southern blight.
Still at a loss.
