Hey there, I am new to this forum. I am an avid, amateur botanist and mycologist. Currently, I'm thinking about moving to San Antonio, TX, and was wondering if anybody either lives there, or knows of any good botany/herbalism info for the area. I've heard that they have a great Botanical Garden, but I'm more looking for programs/internships, groups, local forums and blogs, or anything else you might find relevant. I'm currently situated in the Pacific Northwest where every other person you meet is a self-proclaimed herbalist---I'm scared to move somewhere that I can't find ANY botany info on!
Thanks and have a great spring!

Re: Any info on San Antonio?
We moved out of the Austin TX area some 26 years ago and moved to the PNW, don't miss that state at all. Best of luck moving
down south, San Antonio is an awesome place to visit, lots of things to do there. Just don't let them know you are a 'Yankee.'
