just thought I'd introduce myself. I live in upstate NY where I'm told I'm in zone 5 but my yard is on a ridge and it's more like a 5 1/2 to a 6. By the house it's more like a 7 so I can keep things like glads and other summer bulbs in the ground year round without any problems.
I bought my first hosta 4 years ago and have been hooked since. Every year I buy too many and my poor husband is going nuts! I have some health issues so he has to do all the hard work or digging up sod so I can start new gardens! Like others here I keep saying I have no more room but I keep a running list of different plants I want.
Can't wait to hang out here with others who have the same passions I do!
If you'd like to check out some photos here's a link, I shoot my gardens and gardens near my home among other things.

Welcome, gardengirl! Glad to have you with us. Spring is a wonderful time of year, isn't it? I sure do love seeing everything green up and things start to bloom and add a bit of color to our world.
I hope you'll enjoy this site. There are lots and lots of hostaholics here, so you're amongst friends (aka: enablers
