I don't shake my head at that one, it's the new garden that he posted on the other thread. We had one pond there and I came home from work one day and he had stuck a little one in there too. I thought it was overkill and had suggested he not put it in. Of course he didn't listen!
It does look nice though. (But don't tell him I said that!)

Good looking pond.. formal and unformal in one and the same

Against stupidity the gods themselves struggle in vain.

That is nice! Do u get many birds?
Is there a rubber lining under all those rocks and the water just gets pumped up into the bigger stone?

Sorry for being so late on this - haven't been in this area for a while. Yes, there is a rubber liner under there with a pump under the rock pumping the water up.
No chemicals are used at all and the water seems to find it's balance very quickly.
And yes - we have lots of birds around - we hang hummingbird feeders, have 5 different bird baths and 4 different small ponds with plans for a couple of more!
I also got my hands on another bubbling rock that is really neat looking - have a plan for that one too! Along with a large vase that could potentially be another water feature!
