Anybody like wild Fuscia?
This plant was grown from a cutting of a wild Fuscia. It has taken off and has to be trimmed severely every year

Very
Sam! I suspect that's F. magellanica. My info says the variety 'Riccartonii' is often planted for hedges in W. Ireland and Scotland. I've also read where they are grown in our PNW.
Where else!
Also read they are hardy to -10 C. and can be treated as a herbaceous perennial if the roots can be protected.
Being a typical arrogant/ignorant American, I can't tell ya what -10C is in F.

What the matter Bro, you don't trust me?
Yep, it is a winter hardy fuschia......I got it last year when I was with the Peggy's....They both got one too, but I don't think their's made it......The lady that we got it from told us to mulch it, and let her know if it over winter's......I didn't mulch it.....But it is on the south side of the house. If I remember, I'll go see what the tag says exactly.....When the Peggy's were here last week, I showed it to them,.....
