It's beautiful, OED! Thanks for showing us. :D

I threatened to dig out my Hydrangea 'Forever Pink' again this year. Of course, after having no winter protection except the oak leaves that fell around it, it bloomed its little heart out.

My Forever Pink has been very consistent. It's gotten exactly ONE bloom cluster every year for the last for or five years since it was planted. It's on the east side of my house where I've also got a florist hydrangea that was labled hardy to zone 8. The florist hydrangea is doing wonderfully. I also have a generic hosta from my parents house that was covered with blooms this year and it's not as old as Forever Pink. I'm getting impatient with it.
Shasta is BEAUTIFUL! I got little bitty plants from Bluestone Perennials a few years ago and they're just gorgeous when they bloom now that they've finally gotten big enough. I do get a lot of berries. They're red right now. They're not showy from a distance but look good if you're 10 feet away or less. I have a Summer Snowflake closeby so maybe that's pollinating them for me. Summer Snowflake blooms over a longer time but never puts on a show like Shasta.
