Look what I got! A Weeping Dogwood!

There is a local nursery with an interesting owner LOL! He does sell trees and shrubs but he also loves to barter. I had an old Snapper Riding mower that we weren't using and he was intersted in it, so we made a trade! I got the tree and he got the mower and a couple of dozen chocolate chip cookies :lol: :lol: :lol:

Now I just have to wait for the hostas in the bed next to where the tree is to break dormancy so I can move them to put the tree in the center of this island bed. The hydrangea and red twig dogwoods will be moving too. THis is going to be a bed to showcase the three!

I haven't been able to find a lot about weeping dogwoods on the internet - anyone have one that you can tell me about it?

Oh caliloo, you scored big with that one! Got to love a woman that barters and has chocolate chip cookies on hand! Can't wait to see this one planted and in bloom.

A weeping dogwood sounds fabulous. Don't forget to take lots of pics! What a score!
