In previous years, the Idiots have escaped much of the Minnesota winter by heading to warmer locations, but they have typically returned in early April to do their taxes.
This year, after returning to Arizona from Roatan, the Idiots decided to spend April in Arizona. So many folks suggested staying for April – and most of them would just shake their heads and say “that’s when the desert blooms…”
Man, was that good advice! The Idiots spent much of the month of April with their mouths agape… and taking hundreds of photos. It is now May, and the Idiots are back in Minnesota trying to tame Harbor Lane Gardens – the weeds sure enjoyed April with no harassment! – but they want to share some of those Arizona in April photos with readers.
Enjoy!

The grass-like yuccas bloom in reds and yellows…

And the tree-like yuccas get huge plumes of white blossoms…

But the cactus… oh, the cactus blooms… oh…
