Need flower id for book

Post by cedarleaf »

Hi,

Can anyone help me out? This flower photo goes on the opening spread of a garden guide I am working on. It needs to be identified or it will need to be replaced.

Thanks! Jill

Hmm, almost looks like an anemone or an anemonella but I think there are too many petals for those... How big are the flowers and what does the foliage look like?

Hi Chris,

This photograph was stock from the photographer so I didn't see the original plant, nor was it labeled in any way. Wish I could answer questions about size, height, and foliage! I thought I would try my luck here before I scrapped the photo and found something else.

Thanks,
Jill

I agree with Kellie.
Many a great tune has been played on an older fiddle.

I third that motion as a possible E. 'Charity' or 'Unity' as I can't tell the true pink color by the photo.
