My Park's 'Whopper' tomatoes are about 2 1/2 inches across and some are smaller!

What's the deal?

I say fry up some thick sliced Bacon. Buy some English muffin toasting bread. Crisp the lettuce and don't forget the mayo. BLT's for Dinner. I know nothing about the variety of tomatoes. Enjoy!....the season is too short. Later, Love, Lisa

LOL. Sounds way too yummy! I gave up bacon about five years ago, but you're tempting me.

Maybe the "whopper" was the catalogue description?

My tomatoes are really small this year too. I am thinking it is because of the drought (even though I water). What do you think?

I thought you might be talkin about White Castle burgers.
Lisa has the right idea. Just think of all that crisp bacon piled high on the tomato & muffin. You can leave the lettuce off mine though & sub margarine for the mayo...

Sorry I can't help you, Midnight Reiter. My one "Mr. Stripey" tomato plant has a whopping, 4 tomatoes on it!

You know what? I just re-read the title......*Tiny Whoppers* I didn't see the *tiny* at first Reldon, so NOW I can kinda see where the White Castle came in.....

I think it must be the drought. Park's Whoppers are supposed to be at least four inches across.
OED, yeah, I want my hubby to live longer, so I stopped buying bacon. I try not to think about the recipes that I used bacon in. It's too yummy.

Yep, White Castle brand tomatos. That figures.
