I want to divide my lillies, crocosmia, shasta daisies, and blackeyed susans. Is this a good time to do so? Should I cut them down to about 10" or less? Is this the best time to amend the soil from which I'm taking them and to which they are going? Phew-------------those sure are a lot of questions. Can someone help!!!!!

Sounds good to me, and in your zone I would recommend doing it all without delay, so they can all get established well before the colder weather.
