I see lots of new growth on the evergreens, dormants are still enjoying the winter slumber, 2006 is well on the way.

Oh my, Ed, Love the daylilies, but the group picture of the hostas is fantastic!

Ya know, I put my first hosta order in this year. I hope I do as nice of a job as you in their grouping.

I had a hard to mow area between 3 trees so I took a chance with the hosta's, I have been a fan ever since.

Oh Ed, I can feel the shade in your hosta area. I love my daylilies but on a hot day when you can't stay out in the sun anymore, what a relief to hit the shady spots to cool off.

tma the hosta are as addictive as daylilies. I only had a couple of small areas that could handle shade plants and by the second year, I was totally hooked. Now we have to make/move fences etc. to handle the shade addiction too.

I find Hosta's are just a wonderful plant to work with.
Not to many years ago I wouldn't of ever even considered them at all. Now I am hooked, not hybridizing hooked, but hooked.
Easy to work with and unlike myself, get better with age

Ed, now there is a combination I would never have tried ... the hosta with the pink heurchera, but OMH, it works. How startliing!

Those heurchera seem to go with a lot of plants.
