It's pretty, but I'm not really crazy about purple on daylilies for some reason. Maybe b/c I have ALL purple in everything in my gardens! :D

I like it! Is that a double edge, dark purple and gold? gorgeous coloring!

Jane, problem is that no matter how lavender or purple we think our daylilies are... they are not, when held near something truly lavender, like Phlox, or purple, like Petunia. And we may pretend to see blue as well, but it quickly disappears in the presence of say, Delphinium. So, a true purple-lover might not be satisfied...yet.

Yes, you are right, but......... I need more color away from the color purple! :D Even white would help!

Lovely!
So, have you thought of a name like 'Daring Years' or 'Light Dilemma'
This is an absolute stunner.

:D I agree... that one is better than many of the registered cultivars I've paid for, good growing!

Thanks much.

This plant first bloomed this year, July 15th to be exact.
It is still a ways away for a name, but it is on the high hope list.
I will be watching this one closely, and have used the pollen to see what kind of seedlings it will bring to the table.

Thanks again
