A few shots of the garden beds this spring. Keep in mind that I ripped out hundreds and hundreds of plants so they are looking kinds sparse.

Without the preemptive comment about sparsity, I would have never guessed you removed hundreds of plants. Moving an entire garden twice in a short amount of time must be difficult.
Lovely, what is the siberian in the 2nd shot?

That is Ann Dasch. it is much bluer in real life and the flowers are huge for a sib. The seed from it never germinates for me, so lousy for hybridizing. The turquoise midrib on the style arms is really nice.

It's still just beautiful, Mike!

All our gardens should look so "sparse".

Thanks for the name, any chance you need to get rid of some for postage. I'm upping my quantity of sibs this year. She's gorgeous!

Lovely Mike! And I think I recognize my great grans old one in that first shot? It must have recovered from the leaf spot it suffered from last year? There are lots of things bloomin here, I have to take a few photos of "the new stuff"

(which is only new in the sense that it is new to me)

Hey Mike! I'm liking that Ann Dasch
And keep in mind, sparse to you is probably the same as "pretty darn crammed" to most people LOL! I still can't believe how many plants we took out of your yard, and it still looks beautiful.

Because I am moving my home and garden to a new property with more space.

All my babies are sitting in pots at various friends homes. My house is up for sale and what you see in these pics is the leftovers after I got all my keepers out.

Sparse! Man, you are a laugh this morning! I'd show you sparse, but it would embarrassing! I put in perennials like Lucygoose puts in hosta! According to hoyle!
Beautiful Mike, absolutely wonderous! I can only imagine the heartache and excitement as you go from leaving behind all those beautiful gardens to the clean slate you are heading too! What an emotional time for you.
Great Pics!

SPARSE??

If I lived closer I'd be making midnight raids on your "leftovers!"
Beautiful gardens as usual, Mike!
