Great pics! And don't you just love OK? It is such an intense yellow. It really holds it's own in the garden even after all this time. I love it with other bold toned irises of any color, but soft, subtle shades are just lost near it. I'll bet it looks great with both of these.

And the Iris are beautiful. The purple one yu marked 004, must have had great genes. I got mine from my mother who got it from her mother and goodness KNOW how many times it's been divided. Always comes back full and pretty.
The Yellow one is an OUTSTANDING picture because yellows are so hard to photograph. They either seen to go white or pale. GREAT JOB there. Nice to have an Iris FIX when ours are now all gone.....

Bonnie, You're a goner!
Thanks OC.
I got the purple one from my mother too. I'm not sure but I think she got it from my grandfather. It sure is a good grower.
Did you hear that LucyGoose, OUTSTANDING.

My camera completely refuses to photograph true red, and hates things too close to it as well. Always just get a blob of color. It is time to upgrade the camera.

LucyGoose always teases me because my macro shots are always blurry.
I don't think the purple iris is quite true in color.
What I saw in the lcd screen was not the same as what I saw with the naked eye.
