My Favorite unknown.......

This is one I got from someone way back years ago and remains my favorite today

It appears to be Sweeter Than Wine, (Schreiner 1986) is it about 35" tall?

Most are about that, this one in particular measures 38.

Jane it is so pretty! I never see irises like this in person around here. I sure wish I knew of a place that sold them cause they are addictive. Or maybe it's a good thing I don't know of a place.

Karma! Thank You! I did a search and it certainly appears that it was the name is! Sweet than Wine (1986) Would be around the time I planted it too. We bought the house summer of 86 and added on the deck that next summer, and that's when I put in this garden. Would they have been for sale then? In 1987?
