Lets take over Mom's space!

Mickey feels the need to be close when I'm at the computer and when I'm making phone calls. And this large fat fur ball takes up a lot of space. (note at the bottom of the 1st picture, on the floor, you see a fold-up-sticky mouse trap, for all of his 4 footed treats that he brings into the house and lets go).
We also just bought a new living room set with throw pillows instead of back cushions. And to keep the animals off, we just lay the pillows down. (did you get that---to 'keep the animals off'--)

I just love a fat kitty, and he is too cute. And it is a cat's basic instinct to always be where they aren't supposed to.

He is such a nice cat, and really loves being by me. I took him to the vet a few weeks ago because he was coughing. The hacking, loose cough with nothing coughed up. The vet listened, and took a chest x-ray and said she thinks he has a chronic bronchitis. He doesn't feel bad and it certainly doesn't affect his appetite. So I'll let him be.

What a sweetheart! I have one that loves to sleep on or In if she gets the choice, dh's suitcase! Never mine, TH! His is leather and she thinks it's hers.
He's on teh road a lot and leaves really early in the am. I'm always afraid I'll get a call one night, with him asking me to come rescue her from a hotel! LOL

Isn't it funny how they pick one person o 'show their affection to or bug', Mickey is the same way. He knows my DH isn't fond of cats, but will always lay on his sweatshirt. or try to get into his open dresser drawer to sleep. CHAR
