I'm not into Asiatic Lillies too much, but was pleasently surprised when DH brought home some Lollipop Lillies from Meijers (of all place!). Also, I got some in a trade as an extra.
Well, they are all almost all white. Just a flush of pink on a few.
Will they get more colorful next year?

Sounds like you have a variety that was labeled as Lollipop and isn't.

Can change color with exposure to sun. I had some this spring that turned from Pink to Red in the sun. My Tom-Pounce and my Lollipop both lost all their color in the sun. Two I had over looked last fall when I moved them out of the shade, did nicely. this fall I may put the Lolipops back in some shade...John

John, One set gets morning sun. The other gets TONS of afternoon sun. I will do the shade experiment with the ones in the front since they are in a pot.
I hope this works. I find it hard to believe that I could get the wrong lily from 2 different sources, and have them do the same thing. But maybe my trader bought hers at the same place my DH got mine.

You never know.
Thanks for the replys.

Dear Toomanyanimals,
These are pictures of my lolipop asiatics lilies. I've always loved them for their color, and they are the first to bloom in the season of all my lilies. I'd love to see what an all white one looks like.

Hi Mike and Coot,
Just a couple months too early to see if they will come back the same color. They did have a flush of light pink in the right place, but you really had to look to see it. If you glanced at them you would think they were white.
One set was from an ebay seller (she sent me them in a trade) and I trust her. The others were from Meijers (store). I was just wondering if my soil, light, or because they were first year bloomers that caused such a pale shade of pink.
If I remember this spring I will take pics of them.
Mike, yours are absolutely beautiful ... I hope mine turn out as colorful as yours.
