Helebore Make the move from Michigan to WA
These little hellebore came from Pauhaus' last summer. Thank you Paul!
Will they possible bloom this year? It looks like they have new growth. They never died back, stayed green all winter.

Looks like they are growing nicely, but don't look like they will flower this season. If they were you would have seen some buds coming up before the foliage, but they also take a few years to start flowering from seed. Even when I get in tissue culture plants it often takes 2 seasons before I see flowers on them.
Do you have a spot in the garden to put them? If so, you might see some next year.

Carol, it will take 2 to 3 years depending on what was crossed before you see them bloom. From what I see from the picture you might be looking at a couple years being in
the pots. I'd stick them in the ground, as we have seen them bloom faster that way.

Thanks, guys for the thoughts on the blooms. I am going to be planting them into the ground, as soon as it dries out a bit. Heavy rains expected tonight!

Hey Mrs. O, they are looking good in their new home! Good luck with them and hopefully you'll be sharing flower pics in the next year or two.

That's a nice color! Often my seedlings end up a blah greenish white, but this is a nice start. The color might get even better as the plant matures.

Way to grow Carol! I really like the color and shape of the blossom. So happy you got it to bloom this year.

Thanks, Chris, Toes, Paul, and Lucy for the nice comments on the flower. You should see the leaf growth on them this year, they have really taken off! I expect to see many blooms next year.
