Do the "weedlings" of these really develop.
Do the "weedlings" of these really develop.
Last season while weeding my back bed I noticed a bunch of "weird" little things I determine were seedlings off one of my hellebore. This season I noticed some around another one. How long does it take for them to develop into flowering size?

Paul sent me some of his Helleborus seedlings one summer and the 2 I put in the ground bloomed 2 summers later. I finally got them all planted in the ground and 3 more bloomed this year. I'm still waiting on several others to bloom. So I would say 2-4 years. I tried saving and growing some seeds from last year but they never did germinate. The flowers have been very pretty, so I'm hoping some day for a bunch more weedlings.
