I've only seen an otter once - and it was bobbing up and down in the river. They are beautiful animals

those otters didnt give a hoot if you were there, Sea otters are very playfull. At that flaoting dock (where I worked on a fishing boat that took turons out) each day I had to wade through about 15 otters who loved to tumble and rough house and eat fish heads there. Litterally they would be a foot or two away and pretend you wernt there. I must say, though they look cute in pictures, they are slobs!!!! very messy critters.
