Please help me

What to do
Got them 3 years ago, the one to the left was cut to close to the trunk and had a poor root system, I have been giving it more attention with water, it do grow a lot but only have a few blooms... WHY ???

What to do, I want it to bloom not grow :roll:

By the way I know it is a strange angel, but it was raining so I too the pich from the 1. floor bathroom window :wink:

Could it be that it's taking longer to mature with all the stress it's been through?
Also, could there be a male and a female tree like some of the Hollys (Ilex). I don't know much about the Golden Rain Tree.

My Laburnum took quite a few years before it flowered for the first time
