LG, Wife, aka Doctor Mom sent Master Josh, DS to drive his Dad to the hospital to get stitches. I was moving the big potted brugmansias with the appliance dolly and DH thought that the was was to big for me to move. Well he told me to get out of the way and he stepped in between the dolly and the plant. Well I screamed to move and the brug smack him backwards into the dolly on the way down. Next DH hit the ground and hand to the head where there was lots of blood! DS runs for the a towel I stop DH due to the white carpet and get towel to head. Got it stopped bleeding and Doctor Mom applies ointment and bandaid. Then send Master Josh to drive Dad to hospital while I continue to garden. You see I was coated in mud and figured while they were gone I could get all this finished!! So I finished moving the 8 larger ones from the back and the 9 other plants from the front. Then I covered the brugmansia garden and the last veggie bed with plastic.
I think I should sleep real good this evening!

Thanks OED!! Ya know I really needed a good laugh this morning!! Took Master Josh to work this morning and he was gimmin' so now we will see if DH is too? I have a full day planned today!! I want to get the brugs in the brug house before I get more offers of help. Yes we keep them covered all winter and it's our way of controlling the weeds and cooking the soil. Matter of face we are thinking of cutting the plastic to fit each bed and then planting on top next spring due to the acidy soil which isn't good for the brugs.
Hey LG, I see you laughing! I think OED has my number!

My goodness, Karma! What a tale! And I think Brugs are way too high maintainene for me! Sounds ....and looks....like a ton of work to care for those babies and keep them thriving. Glad DH is okay and you got it all done. :)

Well it's not official all the brugs but 2 are tucked way. The last two are going to have to keep Master Josh's classic car company in the garage as they are way to big for the brug house. I can say I put them all away since the 'Dolly' accident of which DH is still getting a razzing at work. Did you know the local PD ask lots of questions! Stitches are gone, now we are hoping the shinner will go fast.
