In the last few months I had seen a photo of a green hosta, heartshaped leaves, with the tightest piecrust edge I had ever seen. It literally looked like a hacksaw blade. I thought I would remember it's name, but I can't. I saw it on the internet, but don't remember where.
I don't remember whether it was light or dark green, what size. I don't know if it was a newer intro or an older one...registered or unregistered. Can anyone think of a hosta that might fit this description?
Thanks in advance!

Paul, thanks! That one is pretty for sure...so is Ginsu Knife Supreme. I looked them up on HL...
The one I am looking for has a leaf shape more similar to Marilyn Monroe, Niagara Falls and Green Piecrust, but the edge is just really, really tightly zigzagged.
Thanks for trying!

I don't remember who it was that posted it, or what the name of the hosta was, but there was one on here that caught my eye a while back. If you remembered when or about, maybe you could search here for it?
Tigger. I have seen Clovelly and it is certainly on my list! It is really beautiful! I'll use that too, I'm sure. I am just kicking myself for not remembering where I saw that other one!
wishiwere, it has been in the last 6-8 weeks that I saw it...how would I search here?
It may have been on one of the auctions...I hope it wasn't Leafmould's...won't be any chance of gettin' ahold of it then!
Maybe I should pm Kent? He might know...

You'd have to just cruise the post made 6-8 weeks ago. It would be a chore for certain. But I'm thinking this one that Tigger posted by Kent is the one I was thinking of.
Not positive, but it was his or Leafmould. And as was already stated, if it was Leafmoulds, you'll never see one in your hands!
They are the two I was thinking of. Do a search above for posts by either of them and see if you can narrow it down.
Thanks everyone for trying, but no success yet...I've looked on First Look...not there...but there was one beautiful piecrust from someone's breeding program with "Split Personality"....Kent...
I have been racking my brain about where I could have seen it...it may have been from pics of the convention tour gardens...maybe the national? It wasn't on this forum, but somewhere I thought I would get back to, so I didn't write down the piecrusts' name. I've already looked at the AHS website and it wasn't there...can anyone think of where else those kind of pics might have been posted? I remember it was alot of photos of the participants of the tour and of the gardens.....HEEEEELLLLLP!!!!! This is driving me crazy! Well, crazy-er...

doug, no it wasn't a dream...even though that piecrust edge was sure 'dreamy'
I've been thinking, and I am almost certain it was in slideshow, etc. of pics from one of the hosta conventions. There was a combo of people in some pics and just some specimen hostas that were awesome. This particular one really stood out. But I am remembering that I was searching for something that day, so although, very intrigued by seeing the people whose names I know only and the wonderful hostas, I just quickly flipped thru it...now I am just trying to remember where...
Thanks for trying everyone...please keep thinking.
