I planted this beautiful perennial in early summer, and it's still going strong, even after our first frost in Maryland. I bought 4 plants, and they have all fanned out 10-fold (and have sprouted new plants as well). It has shiny dark green leaves and is covered with tiny purple daisy-like flowers.

Looks like the Mexican Heather I bought for either side of my Plantaginia. It comes out of the ground in a very triangular pattern, one main stem, then each stem full of leaves comes out real long at the ground end then gradually shorter forming the triangle point at the end. I got them at Home Depot
