Just wanted to introduce and say hello
Hello everyone. My name is Steve and I live in northern Indiana. Unfortunately I live in an apartment so my fiancée and my garden is sitting in a window but, it is a pretty large window:) We have a large variety of herbs as we both love to cook (and eat). We have tons of succulents, a really nice Euphorbia triangularis, a rather pretty African violet and on orchid at the moment. I have a couple of hosta that I have contributed to my mother’s garden so I can go enjoy them there. Everyone on the forums here seem so very nice. I’m glad I can be a part of it!
Welcome! Lots of nice folks on here.
I understand your dilemma on living in an apartment and not having anyplace to garden. Our son and daughter-in-law are in the same situation. They do have a bit of a deck/balcony so I told them to start getting pots and get ready for spring. They could have a regular little container garden out there. They would like to do herbs as well, maybe a couple vegetables. This will give you a good idea of what you want if you decide to move to a house with a yard.
Our daughter lives in nw IN, but has a very small yard. They are going to try a raised bed to improve soil quality.

Welcome! I imagine it would be a challenge to live in an apartment and love to garden. I do see lots of people with container gardens on their small decks or patios though. Some are quite creative too, and get the most out of the small space they have to work with. Good luck to you and I hope we'll see you posting lots on the forums this year!
