HVX on Bright Lights?

Post by anniejo »

New to trying to determine HVX in my garden. Is this normal on my Bright Lights? Forgive the hail damage and slug attack damage to the leaves.

Normal.

Gorgeous really, that is the edge streaking into the center of the leaf.

Thank you!! I get so confused when people say follow the veins, and I think I can see dark veining in that picture and also the ink bleed where it looks like there are blotches there. Maybe I just need to quit looking at my hostas - I will probably just imagine a problem.

I know how nervous it can make you!

If you go up to some of the "stickies" in this thread, there are photos of hostas with HVX, I think. Also, the hostalibrary.org has a section on it. Once you get used to what it looks like, it will help you relax.

Even though it is different on different hostas, it all has a similar look.

Good luck!
