Re: OC's o9 Iris

Hi OC,
that is a nice color. I wish I could send our rain to you. Here in South West Germany we have had rain for almost seven days now. Today is the first dry day. I hope I can take some pictures now.

Re: The 2009 season is beginning!

Hi Mike,
your iris is very nice, I love it. Here in Germany it is still unusually cold and snowy. I suppose I will have to wait until March until I see my reticulatas blooming.

Seedling

Hi everyone,
here in Germany we are having the coldest winter since 1987. I hate it, where is spring?
Here is a picture of one of my 2008 seedlings

Hi Bill,
I am already trying to eliminate these haft marks in the next generation. It has developped a seed pod (which survived our terrible hail storm) and I wonder what the babies will look like.

Broken colour seedling

This is a broken colour seedling. Pod parent is Gnus flash, pollen parent may be Tiger honey, but I am not sure.

I am sorry, that is the only side shot I have of this iris. We had a hail storm after I took this picture which destroyed the blooms. All the irises on this picture are seedlings.
