I know NOTHIING about puppies, other than that they are awfully cute and fun. However, I haven't had good results with training cats when using a swat either. They start to become afraid of the swatter more than anything. Still I know nothing. OED is the puppy Guru. :D

How to handle Basil?

My Basil plants keep wanting to go to flower and I want bigger leafier plants. I have been picking off the flower buds before they open. Is this wrong? Is there anything else I can do? Also, what is the best way to preserve basil. I was thinking of freezing the leaves individually on a cookie sheet....

Holy cow, you all have such creative and beautiful objects in your gardens! All I have is three brass and glass butterflies which are gifts from my DD and her boyfriend. I love those, but I can't help being a little bit jealous of all the interesting artful pieces you all have.
