What holds the color?.......Well, I can't pinpoint the exact reason for sure, but here are my thoughts and observations. I noticed that the light exposure, did not make a difference. I have two Warpaints, one in open shade with some sun, and one in a shadier spot. The brighter side of the one in ope...

I can't imagine what it would be like :( We have had flooding here in the Northwest, but nothing that I can remember compares to the severity in the Midwest. To all the wonderful people affected, I fee...

Sitting Pretty
Pandora came out to great the visitors at my garden tour on Sunday. I quickly got my camera while she was sitting, posing on the rock.

I'm jelous of your popularity :D I will be there for two of the days, not sure of the times. I know that my DW wants to see Sally Field's lecture on Saturday. I wi...

Plantaginea
The first time I saw any Plantaginea in bloom, was today, It really blew me away. The flower is huge!! The fragrance reminds me of a gardenia. How coincidental, my little friend posed as I took the picture. David. http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb249/davyphoto/th_Picture722.jpg http://i206.photo...

My cat Pandora
I couldn't resist these pictures of Pandora. From time to time I like to show her off. She's a house cat, but in the summer we take her outside to prowl around while we follower her. She finally ends up laying in the grass soaking up all the odors and watching the wildlife show. Like a tranquilizer ...

Linda...I'm surprised at you silly! The solution is so simple. All you have to do is feed the salamanders Alfalfa meal, than save it's droppings and plant them with your hostas. By the way, I know you're pulling the wool over our eyes because you successfully experimented with Salamander Poop alread...
