:D Good Morning Everyone, It's been a very long time since i was here.....so much going on and 2 new computers later HERE I AM..... Carl and i are still in FLORIDA....the weather is beautiful BUT WE VERY BADLY NEED RAIN.....But i am keeping my gardens watered and have some beautiful things blooming....

i wonder why i dont see any of the newbies posts? i see lots of welcomes but no posts....hmmmm......

:D :D :D i am getting a purple peony tree and a pink peony tree some gladiolas and a few other things, cant remember what.... :D :D i love peonies....my mom grew them and they were gorgeous....so actually i am planting them in her memory for easter.... will update more as i get more.... bless ya all...

hi there, WOW OC you have a great selection of hostas.... im going to start a hosta garden here this yr....i found great spots for them....i have shade around the perimeter of my house(thank goodness i could find shade somewhere)....so, that will be interesting.... thanks for sharing your list with ...

hi, roses are doing good...they survived the heavy frost we had last week....they are bloomin again.... :D its starting to warm up again....YAY!!!!! its 61 here right now and its only 8am.....hopefully after church ill still have some energy to do some stuff outside... well, Spring will be for ya al...

Fort Meyers is about an hour from me.....same with cape coral.... i get really nervous when they do the tornado warnings, because they have really hit ppl here hard lately....but, the lord will keep us safe..... im loving my roses.....i have them o...

:eek: :eek: I just went and cut my roses and brought them in and put them in a vase....it has gotten so windy and much cooler i was afraid they would break off....they smell so nice....just got an alert that gulf coast of florida which is me is in for some really nasty storms....very heavy rain, thu...

never mind i found it.....didnt look far enuff down....

hmmm...i posted this on garden bench yesterday and now its not there......

maybe it didnt belong there.....if i put it in the wrong place, i didnt mean too....

:P :P :P i went out this morning and saw one of my rose bushes in bloom...i was doing a happy dance....its dark pink and very fragrant.....i cant remember the name of it.... my mom loved roses, so last yr carl bought a collection of all different rose bushes....and they bloomed beautiful all season....

thanks Joan for the advice...i will do a post on GARDEN BENCH also....

we havent set a date yet, i have a leadership meeting tues night and will bring that up.....

these are beautiful pics linda.... i know what you mean about houses going up overnight...we have been lucky in the 3 years that we have been here that a house hasnt been built right behind us....i love the wildlife that comes thru here.....we have seen bobcats, huge tortoises, we have an owl who is...

hi Nathalie, you'll love fort lauderdale....thats about 3 hours from me on the east coast...we have friends that live there....we see them a few times a year....carl and i were married in fort lauderdale almost 11 years ago.....you'll get plenty of sunshine and warmth....make sure you have sunscreen...

I love seeing all these colors and different varieties....you take great pics.....makes you feel you are right there....would make great prints to hang on your wall....
