Well I'm pelased to show you guys my garden and farm.

Its great to know that I've educated someone somewhere about something I know. For exapmle, the birth of a calf.
Just as I will be learning lots about what is 'local' to you. How you do your gardens etc.

Rain, and lots of it! Recently, within the past couple of weeks we've been having a lot of rain. Can't really say it wasn't needed because it was. The ground was getting quite dry. Shouldn't complain, my garden is getting a free watering. However, I can complain that we've been getting far too much...

Can someone tell me, what is the ratio between beef and dairy farming over there in America? Are there more dairy farms than beef? Example, 40% beef and 60% dairy.
Reason I ask is that I've been to a couple of American farm websites and they're all beef - no dairy at all.

Its a rubber nipple in the shape of a cows nipple. Easily inserted into feeder - its either screwed in or pushed through the hole.

The little green blobs will be fruit trees. Now, since all beds (yes, fruit beds included) I thought I could put some calla li...

After watching Ground Rules last night, I was left drooling and gagging at the bit to get a roll on my new project that'll happen some time down in the biggest pipe line of all pipe line of things. Anyway, since I can't be bothered to scan the paper I drew this on, you'll have to make do with my ver...

Snow, whoever took that picture is lucky. Fantails are very quick birds on their feet, hopping around on a branch, or a pipe as mine was :???:

I am pleased to read that there has been some sort of progress with Curtis.

All the very best for the surgery. Makes me wonder why the vet hasnt put the surgery date forward with all this happening? I know that if it was a pet of mine and I took it into my vet she would operate as soon as possible.

Shame it isn't a girl - then you could throw a nappy on it  Nice markings on it too. And don't worry - our house still has poo stains in it from all the 'adopted' lambs, crook calves etc we've brought inside. Oh, and the birds can make a miss too if they want to. Thank goodness for carpet clea...

There was a fantail floating around the house all day. I love these birds - they're so neat. Real characters. Do you get them in America? Mint

Here is one of the pots of Wild West Coast mint. It has the most strongest flavour I've ever come across in any mint.
