Have a new container in a new garden,it is a LARGE cable reel I brought home from work lined it with a rubber mat and painted it a funky green.I have a couple troplcal bulbs that are slow coming ,elephant ears cannas,palms,and a Castor bean that just bloosomed and it is a gorgous color.I always plan...

Those familiar with Arrowhead Alpines nursery,will be sad but Bob passed last month a great plantsman.He said he has at least on vine growing on all his trees on the place.I have started to do the same it is great fun watching them go to the canopy.

I find most shade plants low maintanence.See what looks like Jackfrost Brunnera,it is the most soothing to me at dust I look at the ones I have and they radiate like when I was younger and smoked pot.

I have a Mt Ash I plant many years ago ,no doubt not an ideal location in the yard,very sand ,not very fertile,\,this time of year it always looked dreadful.This year I watered it and fertilized the poor thing and what a difference,it is awsome! Dawn comes late to some of us.
