Sporting Love Pat
Finally found a sport worth talking about. LovePatSport.JPG This is probably H. 'Love Pat' (label has gone missing but my collection list says this must be Love Pat). I've neglected it for a couple of years, so it decided to draw my attention. Hope the edge stabilizes, because is saw no sport in Hug...

H. 'Arno'
Hello all you hosta lovers
I'm glad to be back after a long time.
My son wanted a hosta named after him and he picked this one. It's a H. 'Eos' seedling with firm leafs that stay yellow all season.

One a day - Hosta 'Fleet Week'
This Altarra Scheer introduction, a H. 'Niagara Falls' seedling, is, like its mom, a real showstopper. It makes a very tight clump and grows very fast. In the Hosta Mill it found a place in the shade of a platanus tree. The soil gets a 5 cm compost layer every 2 years. This seems to work very well. ...

An oldie, 1983. If you were to look it up in the Hosta Library, I don't think many people would be tempted to put it in their garden. Hope this picture can change your mind. One a day - Hosta 'Phoenix'
The Hosta of the day tradition is one to keep alive. I'll try to post one from now on every day, one that hasn't been shown before. The first one is H. 'Phoenix', a H. rectifolia hybrid that is heading for oblivian, and I don't know why. IMHO it brings something different to a collection. Hosta 'Pho...

It's called H. 'Arno'
If it proves to be a good garden plant, this one will be Tc'd in a couple of years.
It's a lemon yellow H. 'Eos' seedling.
