How part of my garden used to look.

Planted 10/23/08 and germinated 2 weeks later. Only 4 of 25 seeds came through.
I hear they are hard to germinate so I'll keep them and see what happens.

OK, I've collected my seed pods and I'm having trouble determining which seed is good and which is not. I understand that the plump seeds are good, but plump is a broad word. My Hadspen Blue hosta leafs are turning a rust color. Any ideas why.
