Need help with ID
Got a Hosta from a friend and she didn´t know the name. I hope someone can help me with an ID. It´s about the same size as 'Ginko Craig', but the leaves are a little bit shorter.

Re: A beautiful martagon-hybrid
The name is Lilium martagon 'Zvaigznu Värti'. It comes from a breeder in Latvia who was specially invited to the plantmarket. The sell their lilies on the internet too.

A beautiful martagon-hybrid
I like Lilium martagon a lot and on a plantmarket some years ago I bought an exclusive hybrid. After two years I could enjoy the flowers and I want to show you this beauty. The flowers are not so curly as the common L. martagon but the colors are great.

Re: Id please.
After a few days of thinking... Your photo reminded me of something I had earlier. If it´s a very sticky plant, it could be some type of Hylocereus. I had a Hylocereus undatus, comes from Thailand and gives a fruit called Dragonfruit or Pitahaya. Got rid of my plants because they growed so fast and ...

Re: Is this the Hosta Virus?
Thank you! That´s good news for me and my 'Big Daddy'.
I´ll keep the plant to see what happens next season. I haven´t used any chemicals but maybe my neightbours. This border is next to their lawn so perhaps that´s the answer.
Pia, I live in Sollefteå, about 500 km north of Stockholm.

Re: Id please.
It´s some kind of epiphytic cacti but it´s impossible to give it a name. To get a chance to name it you must take a photo of the flower and even then it´s hard to tell. There are so many... It can be an Epiphyllum but´s there´s a millon hybrids to speculate about. Here you can se some: http://www.ep...
