Good points. My sons girlfriend makes jewelry and sells at craft shows. Which is how I got interested last fall. I did go to several craft shows with my table set up. But since I'm not a jewelry wearer out and about, I may have to try that. I do have some business cards that I made for the Farmers M...

The framework is completed for the lightbox. DH did that for me, in a short amount of time. Good for him, considering he isn't usually too handy. Now its my turn to practice with the light and shooting. Thanks. CHAR

Drooling seems to be only in anticipation of a treat he wants, that someone elsle has. Like cheese, or some sweet treat. I keep a paper towel handy for any wipe ups. And he is really good about standing still to let me do it,as long as I am gentle. Those big boxer lips just lelt the bubbles roll. CHAR

Thats not something I've ever done. But, when I do his 'rub down' in the morning,( I just give him the all over massage,) .....he does his darndest to position himself for the 'ultimate' rub. (not going to happen). He also crawls off the couch in a long 'rub it on the couch' stretch.

We had to put an early stop to the dog playing with slippers while they were on the feet. DH thought it was 'cute' to have the puppy attack his feet. But that could be disasterous and his slippers could have been eatten early on. (those slippers finally were replaced-'due to old age', by some that l...

great site for the lightbox. I have copied the instructions and will see if DH can handle this project. If not, then I will.
Thanks a lot.
I knew the busy background wasn't right, but I wanted the lighting to be good too. I'll just keep plugging away. CHAR

Corky doesn't snore. How lucky am I?......but I have had to change the dog food a couple of times and go to something with more protein, to keep the flatus under control. (well,.....not under control, but considerably less than before). And a scented candle burning helps too.

I just love it. He looks just like Corky. Dark eye circles, and uneven black on snout/nose. When Corky was a baby his nose was pink with just one or 2 small spots of black, and now it is all black.

They are so intelligent. CHAR

The scrubby ended up being mine, but the look was totally possessive, wasn't it? Our boxer is so inquisitive, or nosy. He is always right in the middle of anything new in the house, checking it out. I knew nothing about boxers when we got him. My thought was a mid sized dog, with minimal shedding. A...

Lucy, thats something I didn't know about the spots. Mickey didn't have any for a long time, then he started getting them a couple of years ago. (he is only 5). Age spots, I always called them freckles.

And the other cat draped over anything she can find is priceless. Thanks for sharing. CHAR

Corky-new toy?

This is equal time to Corky, who thinks he is head of the household. He always goes to the grocery sacks when I get home from the store. Not just for food but for any toys I might have bought him.

He found this shower scrubby in the sack and thought it was for him. CHAR

Cap Nap

Mickey chooses various spots to nap in. He will choose his spot and sleep there for days or weeks before changing to a new favorite place. Much to DH's dismay, Mickey has chosen the top of DH's dresser. Nothing on top of there is orderly, but there is a decorative 'towel' on top to keep the dust fro...
